News & Announcements System Announcements Blackboard is no longer available for teaching starting Summer 2024 (Monday, May 6, 2024) Blackboard is no longer available for teaching starting Summer 2024 as the University transitions to a singular learning management system, Canvas. Important steps to take: Instructors: Download Grade Center columns to view outside of Blackboard. Download either all or selected assignments as a zip file to review offline. Download Course Files (Download Packages) including relevant documents and images to your course. Note: If you’d like to upload an exported .zip file into your Canvas course, do not open the .zip. Instead, follow the instructions in the Canvas support article to upload the unopened .zip to Canvas . Instructors can also request content-copy migration to Canvas to get ahead on building their course in the new LMS. Note that content-copy does not preserve student data such as grades, assignment submissions or discussion posts. Students: Spring 2024 courses will be accessible until Thursday, June 7th. Before that date, be sure to save copies of all your course work. You may need them for a portfolio when applying to jobs or graduate school. Canvas is here!
